Situated
in the foothills of the Peneda National Park, this 200 year
old granite quinta (farmhouse) is full of charm and set in its
own grounds of more than two and a half acres offering superb
views across the mountains to the beautiful valleys below. Until
recently this property was a working farm that has since been
tastefully renovated.
The accommodation upstairs comprises of two double bedrooms
and a single room that can be converted to bunk beds, and sleeps
up to 9 People.
There is a large well equipped kitchen with hob and oven, fridge
/ freezer, microwave and washing machine together with a spacious
dinning area leading onto an outside balcony overlooking the
vines and orange trees. For the more adventurous there is a
wood burning hergom ( stove) and the original bread oven.
The bathroom comprises of a bath with shower, toilet, bidet
and wash hand basin. Linen and towels are included, however
pool towels are not included in the holiday. |

Downstairs which was originally the
animal and grain stores are now the winter lounge with television
and tastefully furnished for your comfort together with a log
burner for the winter months.
Through the connecting door is the dinning room furnished in
traditional pine offering ample space and ambience for the family
meal or just to listen to the hi-fi.
Both lounges have french doors that lead out to the secluded
vine shaded courtyard, mature gardens and barbecue area with
its own undercover patio area. Should you wish, one can also
dine alfresco at the granite picnic table with its stunning
view down the valley.
The large private swimming pool with outside shower is situated
at the rear of the property on a elevated terrace ideal for
sunbathing on the sun loungers. There is ample parking for 3
or more cars in the drive and parking area behind the pool.

Additional
Information
- All prices are per week and a 50% deposit on booking
is required. The balance is due 60 days before holiday
date.
- Let us know the dates you require for confirmation and
we will forward a booking form immediately.
- Payment may be made by cheque in either Pounds
Sterling or Euros.
- Both properties are 90 minutes from Oporto airport and
a 30/40 min drive from the quiet long sandy beaches.
- A cot which can be converted to a child's bed is available
at either of the properties on request.
- We do advise our guests that we have a No Smoking and
No Pets Policy inside our accommodation and that
travel insurance is recommended.
